Best Fashion Designer Showcase At The FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week 2021

The FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week 2021 showcased seasonless fashion with famous fashion designers of India. The show was opened by Anamika Khanna and the closing day was a showcase of fun and bright hues by Ruchika Sachdeva. The fashion week brought together many fashion designers that exhibited latest fashion trends, indigenous fashion in India and futuristic fashion on a common platform. The fashion week was showcased digitally for its spectators and earned a lot of praises from the fashion industry associates and fashion enthusiasts. The  FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week 2021 best showcases were-

1.       Akshat Bansal (Bloni)

The fashion designer was applauded for the collection presented on the show. A futuristic approach, Akshat brought sustainability and future fashion trends through his garments. The collection was an amalgamation of technology, sustainable fashion and indigenous craft fashion in India. The fashion designer presented gender neutrality in edgy and clean silhouettes bringing innovation by blending the crafts of India with modern trends. Tie and dye, hand crochet and knitting with unique marine waste textile. The fashion designer sure did present innovation this fashion week through his garments and dedication to sustainability in fashion.

2.       Anamika Khanna

The famous fashion designer Anamika Khanna opened the FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week 2021. She brought the latest fashion trends with a pinch of the indigenous fashion of India on the ramp.  Loose silhouettes, cropped pants, flowy garments, double-breasted jackets, and oversized clothing the fashion designer got them all in bright hues of yellows, greens and the signature black and white tones. The fashion designer through the phygital fashion week also popularized minimal makeup and highlights trend with accessories and edgy footwear.

3.       Pankaj and Nidhi

The designer duo brought bright and playful fashion on the ramp. The phygital show gave varied and distinctive looks created by designers. The Pankaj and Nidhi duo brought geometric patterns in exaggerated sleeves, holiday-ready silhouettes and flowy textiles. The collection gave a clear picture of the inspiration of the designers. They were inspired by 3D geometric figures and elements. The fashion designers inculcated the same in bright hues throughout the collection in the show. Presenting colors like never before, the designer duo ensured to follow the latest beauty trends too, colorful liners, blue shadows, subtle highlights and a natural hairdo. The FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week saw a new ‘avatar’ of the designers.
