The Top looks of the Lakme Fashion Week
The last year's Lakme Fashion Week was a whole different one. The coronavirus outbreak had lead to the digital series of the Lakme fashion week. The show unveiled various creative designs that were worn and presented by b-town celebs at their absolute best.
1) Street Style-

There were
some sexy streetwear styles presented on the 5th day of the fashion week. There
were some classy ranges of streetwear in both indie and contemporary styles.

The most
striking design was CDC x Malai's minimal silhouettes. Sonakshi Sinha and
Ishaan Khattar were aware of the fact that streetwear suits them the best.
2) Tales of Sarees-

Fashion in India has its tale
of sarees for centuries. Different types of draping, textures, and designs
never fail to mesmerize any person unaware of the beautiful land of sarees.

In the Lakme fashion week, unbelievable designs and
sections were unveiled. In this particular season, regal silk sarees by
Gaurang, the rudimentary aesthetics of Raw Mango, and beautiful minimal drapes
by Payal Khandwala were showcased.
3) Modern Indie-
All about India was a showcase in the Lakme Fashion Week that
featured a total of six designers. Some of them are-

Indian textiles and prints. Hand-Woven silk brocades. (center stage)

Paul – Double ikat weaves

Pero- Inspired by Kawai Japanese street
style culture of Harajuku Fashion. Quirky tour of a dollhouse with its added
floral collection.
4) It’s Glam time!

A series of drama in the LFW where Pankaj & Nidhi
presented their show with a collection of loungewear, workwear, and holiday
wear.

The interesting part is, that the clothes were made of
100% recycled PET bottles in 4 different colors of earthy blue, sandy peach,
dusty pink, and pecan brown.
5) The Wedding and the Bride!

The Lakme fashion week is one of the most prestigious and popular fashion weeks held
in India where designers from all over India participate and present their
ravishing collections & designs. Because of the novel Coronavirus outbreak,
the last year’s fashion week was digital and still managed to put up an awesome
show for the audiences. Plenty of sartorial designs by talented designers were
showcased in the LFW by top b-town celebs and supermodels.
